Shani Bar On is an Israeli bassist and composer based in Boston. Drawing from the language of the Blue Note era, his music blends the tradition of jazz with influences from soul, gospel, Latin American music, and the sounds of his Israeli upbringing. He is currently completing his first record while studying at Berklee College of Music.
